The DNA polymersase is unzipping the strand of DNA that's coming up from below, and at upper left is the new base coming in.I like it because you can pretty much see what it's doing.

This particular polymerase is from a thermophilic archaean bacterium
(Sulfolobus solfataricus). The Y-family means that it specializes at
dealing with damaged stretches of DNA.

This is another one of those "impressive" cubes of DNA. There is nothing more that will take your breath away till you see this (or the others). As beautiful as they come. This is a big cube, about 80 mm x 80 mm x 80 mm - and heavy.

Also, there is a base to go with this cube. With or without the base - it is impressive.

It comes with a tranformer to power the 5 LED lights. This is in black piano finish.
